About Us

Vishal Patel is the Principal Therapist at SureCare Counselling. He is a psychotherapist and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Vishal holds a degree from Australian Catholic University and brings a rich clinical background in narrative therapy, systemic practice, and trauma-informed care.

Since 2015, Vishal has supported individuals and families across a range of settings, including government, non-profit, and private sectors. His past roles have included:

• Senior Therapeutic Residential Youth Worker
• Intensive Foster and Kinship Practitioner
• Multicultural Mental Health Coordinator

Vishal works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing a broad range of mental health and psychosocial concerns. His approach is collaborative, person-centred, and strengths-based, empowering clients to gain clarity, process difficult emotions, and develop tools to support their wellbeing.
